Premier League football clubs have voted unanimously to return to contact training, as discussions continue on plans to resume the season when "conditions allow".

"Squads are now able to train as a group and engage in tackling while minimising any unnecessary close contact," read the statement after 20 clubs met recently.

"The Premier League's priority is the health and wellbeing of all participants."

It comes as four more players from three clubs tested positive for coronavirus in the latest batch of tests.

They will now self-isolate for a period of seven days.

So far, 12 people have tested positive after 2,752 screenings were undertaken since the beginning of this month.

Clubs last week began the first phase of 'Project Restart' after agreeing to train under strict limitations.
