The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
During the meeting in Abu Dhabi, the two leaders stressed the importance of intensifying efforts aimed at achieving an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and providing full protection for civilians.
They discussed the suggestions presented by US President Joe Biden and affirmed their support for all concerted initiatives and efforts aimed at de-escalating the situation in the Gaza Strip and achieving lasting peace based on the two-state solution.
Their Highnesses also discussed bilateral ties and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields.
Sheikh Tamim left the UAE later in the day, and he was seen off at the airport by Sheikh Mohamed and several Sheikhs and senior officials.
