The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has expressed deep sorrow over the Air India plane crash near Ahmedabad airport on Thursday.
He said the thoughts of the UAE are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India.
Sheikh Mohamed extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those affected by the incident.
Air India AI-171 flight, bound for London with 242 people on board, crashed minutes after taking off from the western city of Ahmedabad.
