The military funeral ceremony for the UAE's martyrs - Captain Saeed Al Balooshi and First Lieutenant Ali Al Taniji - took place on Tuesday.
They died following a helicopter crash due to a technical malfunction while performing their national duty, the ministry announced on Monday.
The ceremony, held at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, was attended by a number of senior leaders and officers from the Ministry of Defence, as well as family members of the two martyrs.
The Ministry of Defence extended its deepest condolences.
