The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Ethiopia on Friday on an official visit.
Upon his arrival at Bole Addis Ababa International Airport, he was welcomed by Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed.
Sheikh Mohamed was accorded an official reception, featuring the national anthems of the UAE and Ethiopia, accompanied by a salute of 21 artillery rounds.
The colourful welcome ceremony included a horseback procession as a group of children chanted greetings while waving the flags of both nations.
The Emirati delegation will hold a series of engagements with the Ethiopian side to discuss opportunities for cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, food security, energy, trade, investment, technology and others.
