The UAE floating hospital, stationed at the Port of Al-Arish, has started operations, aiding Palestinians in need.
The hospital, part of the UAE's 'Gallant Knight 3' and 'Chivalrous Knight' humanitarian operations has a dedicated team of 100 medical staff, 100 beds, operating rooms, and essential medical facilities.
It's also equipped with a helipad and boat ensuring swift responses to emergencies.
Patients undergo thorough evaluations before receiving appropriate treatment, including surgeries and medical programmes.
The hospital builds on the success of the UAE field hospital in Gaza, which provided crucial medical services, including over 764 surgeries and care for more than 6,620 cases since December 2023.
