The UAE has sent its sincere condolences and expressed its solidarity with the people of the Philippines after the country was hit by its first tropical storm of the year.
At least 30 people are reported to have died with 28 missing in landslides and floods caused by storm Megi as it struck eastern and southern coasts.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed its sympathy with the Philippines government, population and the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
