Parts of the UAE will experience rainfall of varying intensities over the weekend, with temperatures set to drop further on Monday.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), overcast skies and rain will continue until Monday, February 26, across the northern, eastern and coastal areas.
The UAE weather bureau explained that the country "will be affected by a surface low-pressure system extending from the Southwest, accompanied by an extension of an upper air depression in the atmosphere. Along with a westerly trough with different amounts of clouds flowing from the West at different intervals".
Strong winds and dusty conditions are also forecast for Sunday.
