UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan performed the Eid Al-Adha prayer on Wednesday morning at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
Joining him were senior members of the UAE leadership, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, ministers, senior officials and worshippers.
The Eid sermon focused on the importance of honesty, loyalty and sacrifice in strengthening societies and nations.
Dr Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, said honesty builds trust, stability and national unity, and highlighted the role of loyalty and public service in supporting the country’s continued development.
Following the prayer, Sheikh Mohamed exchanged Eid greetings with worshippers and joined fellow sheikhs in reciting Al-Fatihah in memory of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
