The UAE's medal-winning Paralympics team have been praised by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
His Highness congratulated Abdullah Alaryani, Mohamed Al-Qayed Al Hammadi and the entire UAE Paralympics team for their "remarkable achievements" in a social media post.

The UAE contingent won three medals – a gold, a silver and a bronze – during the Tokyo Paralympic Games.
Abdulla Sultan Al Aryani, 51, put UAE on the Tokyo Paralympic Games’ list of gold-medal winners when he took the top spot in the men's 50m SH1 rifle event on September 3.
Mohamed Al Qayed Al Hammadi won bronze in the men's 100m T34, and silver during the men’s 800m T34.
Al Hammadi carried the UAE flag at the Tokyo Paralympic Games opening ceremony, won at the 2012 Games in London, and the earned gold at the 2016 Paralympic Games.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed also commended Japan for successfully hosting the Games.
