His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, has visited the 'Make it in the Emirates' forum, taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Running until May 22, the forum is the UAE’s flagship industrial event, showcasing the country’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and its growing role as a global industrial hub.
It brings together top government officials, industry leaders, and innovators to drive industrial growth and sustainability.
Speaking at the event, Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that the national industrial sector is a key pillar of the UAE economy, vital for innovation, economic diversification and national sovereignty.
He also highlighted the UAE’s ambition to expand the sector’s share of GDP, boost exports and attract high-value investments.
Sheikh Hamdan toured the exhibition, exploring cutting-edge technologies from local companies in areas such as AI, robotics, energy and real estate.
