The new travel protocols have been issued in Dubai after ensuring the emirate’s readiness to deal with all possible scenarios.
That’s according to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority; also the Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, and the Chairman of flydubai.
He said the authorities have carried out a detailed evaluation of the situation, both domestically and globally.
Sheikh Ahmed also reassured that a clear set of procedures are in place to ensure the health and safety of passengers as well as air crew and ground staff.
He added that the latest announcement will help boost the tourism sector and strengthen the local economy.
"The impetus received by the new announcement will enable our national carriers to reinforce their leading position in the global travel industry," Sheikh Ahmed explained.
