Authorities are warning the public to be cautious with scam telephone calls from unknown places outside the UAE. According to the national news agency WAM, Dubai Police is advising residents not to divulge personal information and financial details to unknown callers. The warning also applies to users of social media, email or any smart services. The bureau is urging individuals who receive such calls to communicate with its Al Ameen service by calling toll free on 800 4888 or by sending an SMS to 4444.
