The UAE's National Ambulance service has reminded residents about what to do if they get stung by a bee.
They say cases of people getting bitten by bees and other insects are more common during the summer when the temperature is higher.
In a video posted on Instagram, the National Ambulance service said the first step is to remove the stinger by gently scraping a card against the spot where they got stung.
They should then place an ice pack wrapped in a clean cloth over the spot for 20 minutes.
Medical attention should be sought if they suffer an allergic reaction 30 minutes after being bitten.
