Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) shut down 23 establishments in January for flouting COVID-19 safety rules.
It also fined 238 others for not complying with the regulations.
The closure orders and fines were issued during inspections across various tourist venues and establishments in the emirate.
