The UAE has confirmed 2,087 new cases of COVID-19 from 225,489 tests.
Another 1,677 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 399,803.
Meanwhile, 16 more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,369.
A total of 419,996 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,824 are currently active.
