COVID-19: 1,008 new cases in UAE from nearly 97,000 tests

The UAE has confirmed 1,008 new cases of COVID-19 from 96,994 tests.

Another 1,466 people have recovered, taking the recovery tally to 133,490.

Meanwhile, six more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 503.

A total of 136,149 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 2,156 are currently active.

The Ministry of Health conducts 96,994 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 1,008 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 1,466 recoveries and 6 deaths cases due to complications. #CommitToWin pic.twitter.com/Kj2Rughheq
