The UAE confirmed 1,545 new cases of COVID-19 from 277,994 tests on Friday.
Another 1,480 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 668,554.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,971.
A total of 691,554 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 21,029 are currently active.
