Two US service members have been killed and six others wounded in an attack in eastern Afghanistan.
According to initial reports, an individual dressed in an Afghan uniform opened fire after a combined US and Afghan force completed a "key-leader engagement" on Saturday.
"We are still collecting information and the cause or motive behind the attack is unknown at this time," Colonel Sonny Leggett, a spokesman for US forces in Afghanistan, said in a statement.
