Saudi FM, US Secretary of State discuss Gaza situation

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, discussed the importance of considering any proposal that achieves a permanent ceasefire with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on call.

The main goal is to end the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah discussed, in a phone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the proposal announced by US President Joe Biden regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip, the hostage exchange deal, and its stages of completion.

During the phone call, the Saudi Foreign Minister expressed his country's support for all efforts aimed at an immediate ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, the provision of urgent humanitarian aid to civilians affected by the Israeli escalation, and the safe return of displaced people to their homes.
