Protests turned violent for a second night in Minneapolis in an outpouring of anger over the death of a African-American man in police custody.
Four police officers have been fired after a video showing 46-year-old George Floyd lying face down and saying "I can't breathe" as a police officer pinned him down went viral.
Rampant looting was also reported just hours after Mayor Jacob Frey urged prosecutors to file criminal charges against the four police officers.
Protesters clashed with riot police firing tear gas as many chanted, "No justice, no peace" and "I can't breathe".
