The race to pick a Democratic candidate to face US President Donald Trump has got off to a disastrous start.
Results from the Iowa caucuses has been delayed due to "inconsistencies".
The Iowa Democratic Party stressed there was not a "hack or intrusion" and added it expected to "have numbers to report later today [Tuesday]".
Voting had undertaken in more than 1,600 schools, libraries and churches on Monday.
