Eight people have been killed in two shooting incidents in a German city near Frankfurt.
Heavily armed police sealed off two streets in the city of Hanau, where five people were wounded after a gunman opened fire at two shisha cafes.
In a Tweet, the regional police confirmed the suspect was found dead at his home after a seven-hour manhunt.
There appeared to be no other perpetrators and the motive for the attack remains unclear.
