Dominica has been removed from a European Union blacklist of tax havens.

In a statement, the EU said the Caribbean Island has changed its tax rules to comply with EU requirements.

They say the alterations mean there’s a reduced the risk of individuals or companies committing tax evasion.

However 11 countries still remain on the blacklist including Fiji, Guam and the Marshall Islands.
