US, Thailand and Australia have recorded their first fatalities from coronavirus, as authorities work towards containing the virus.
The US officials confirmed that a man in his 50s with underlying health conditions died in Washington, while a 78-year-old man, who was onboard the virus-hit Diamond Princess, died in a hospital in Perth.
In Thailand, a 35-year-old man, who also had dengue fever, died from the virus.
According to the World Health Organisation, more than 85,000 coronavirus cases have been reported in 57 countries around the world and almost 3,000 deaths.
