At least 35 people have been killed after an explosion hit a bus traveling on a highway in Afghanistan.
According to local officials, 17 people have also been injured.
The blast happened in the Farah province on a road connecting the provincial capitals of Herat and Kandahar.
Police say the bomb was planted by Taliban insurgents in a bid to target Afghan and foreign security forces.
