Kuwait's Ministry of Defence has reported the injury of four service members after Iranian attacks targeted the country's Navy vessel on Tuesday evening as its air defence forces intercepted six missiles and 33 drones.
In a statement, the ministry noted that injured personnel were immediately evacuated to receive specialised medical attention and are currently in stable condition.
It also added that the mid-air interceptions resulted in shrapnel fallout across various residential and industrial sectors, causing some material damage.
Kuwait's Fire Force (KFF) also successfully extinguished and contained a blaze caused by Iranian attacks on Tuesday, with no injuries reported.
An official spokesperson confirmed that emergency responders neutralised the blaze, with the fire only causing material damage to the site.
