That's according to the latest Gallup Law and Order Index, measuring public perceptions of safety and faith in law enforcement.
The UAE registered impressive scores in the global report, covering 115 countries and territories.
In the overall index, the UAE ranked second, with a score of 93.
The survey gauged people's sense of personal security and experiences with crime and law enforcement.
Norway (score of 94) topped the overall rankings, while China, Switzerland and Finland rounded out the top-five spots.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gallup was unable to field its surveys in Singapore and Afghanistan - two countries that have consistently scored the highest and lowest on the index.
