UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met with the heads of delegations taking part in the US-Russia-Ukraine trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi.
The discussions, which began today, bring together senior representatives from the three countries as part of ongoing efforts to encourage dialogue and explore political solutions to the Ukraine crisis.
The representatives are US presidential envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner; Igor Kostyukov, Head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces; Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of Staff to the Ukrainian President; Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine; and a number of senior officials from both Russia and Ukraine.
During the meetings, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his best wishes for the success of the talks, voicing hope that they would lead to positive outcomes and help bring an end to a conflict that has continued for several years.
He reaffirmed the UAE’s consistent approach in supporting constructive dialogue and advancing diplomatic solutions to regional and international crises.
