Two-thirds of UAE residents are willing to share their personal information in exchange for better offers and services. That’s according to the Global Loyalty Lens study, conducted by marketing and loyalty analytics firm Aimia, in which 20,000 consumers in 11 markets were polled. However, only 10% of respondents said they were able to get better offers and services as a result of sharing their personal details. The results of the survey also suggest UAE residents are more willing to share their mobile numbers with companies than any other market. 71% of them said they would do it, compared to only 23% in Germany and 38% in the UK.
