His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, said the UAE’s government system has made exceptional progress that has positively impacted various development sectors.
He made these remarks during his visit to the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, following his recent appointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
During the visit, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on the federal government's structure, key plans, projects, legislations and working mechanisms.
He also reviewed ongoing plans aimed at advancing coordination and integration between the federal government and local governments.
His Highness praised the progress made towards uniting national efforts and pushing forward national priorities and strategic projects.
"Thanks to the vision of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE’s government system has become a globally unique model of efficiency, resilience and adaptability to change," said Sheikh Hamdan.
He added that the UAE is making strides towards more progress and accomplishments, paving the way to a better future for its people and the next generation.
