The world's biggest gaming event for women has kicked off in Dubai.
The finals of the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival will see nine teams compete for a $100,000 prize pool split between the games, League of Legends and Counter-Strike: GO.
You can also look forward to an Interschool Esports Tournament as well as cosplay and a range of entertainment activities headlined by American rapper Gucci Mane

"We see eSports creating a host of new opportunities for the development of talent, creativity, next-generation skills and entrepreneurship, all of which will be on show at this event," said Abdulla Al Mansoori, Team Leader of Dubai 10X Media, a subsidiary of the Government of Dubai Media Office.
The event runs until Saturday at the Meydan Grandstand.
