The Most Noble Number online charity auction, organised by Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), has raised more than AED 83.78 million in support of the Fathers' Endowment campaign.
Proceeds of the auction, which opened on March 11 and closed today, will go towards providing healthcare and treatment for the less fortunate.
The auction featured 444 special plate numbers, including iconic vehicle and motorcycle plates, and raised funds thanks to generous contributions from businessmen, humanitarians and philanthropists.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of Abu Dhabi's Department of Municipalities and Transport, praised the community’s strong support for the auction, highlighting how the funds will directly benefit vulnerable communities worldwide by ensuring sustainable healthcare access.
Launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, the Fathers' Endowment campaign honours fathers by establishing an endowment fund to improve healthcare access in underserved communities.
This includes developing hospitals, providing essential medical equipment, expanding capacity, and upgrading operating rooms.
The campaign continues to welcome donations from individuals and institutions through several channels, including its website, a dedicated call centre, bank transfers and SMS options. Contributions can also be made through the DubaiNow app and Jood, Dubai’s community contributions platform.
