At least 20 people have been injured at a prestigious Indian university after masked men wielding sticks attacked them.
Footage on Indian media channels showed the attackers chasing students with stones and sticks inside the Jawaharlal Nehru University in the capital Delhi on Sunday night.
While the police said the clashes erupted between rival student groups, many media platforms claimed it's linked to the recent protests over the controversial citizenship law.
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank condemned the violence as "extremely worrying and unfortunate", while Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman described the scenes as "horrifying".
