North Korea has conducted its third weapons test in eight days.
Officials from South Korea say Pyongyang fired two projectiles missiles on Friday.
They say the weapons are a new type of short-range missile.
Last week North Korea fired four short-range ballistic missiles on two separate days.
It comes despite desperate efforts from the international community to reach a diplomatic solution to the situation.
They said it was intended to pressure South Korea and the USA to stop conducting military drills together.
