England's cricketers survived a scare to beat Afghanistan by 15 runs in their World Twenty20 match. An upset seemed to be on the cards as Afghanistan’s bowlers took early wickets, including Captain Eoin Morgan for a golden duck. But Moeen Ali top-scored with 41 and David Willey hit a quick-fire 20 and took 2-43 to steer England home. Chasing a victory target of 143, Afghanistan finished on 127-9. England will qualify for the last-four if they beat Sri Lanka on Saturday and the West Indies defeat South Africa on Friday.
