Joe Lacava helped the two-time Omega Dubai Desert Classic champion win his 15th major title at the Masters earlier this year.
He now joins the likes of Mike Cowan, Steve Williams and Phil Mickelson's former right-hand man Jim “Bones” Mackay in the hall of fame.
Woods and Lacava are in action later Thursday at the BMW Championship.
