Russian clubs have been banned by UEFA from participating in the Champions League and all other European competitions next season, European football's governing body announced on Monday.
"Russia will have no affiliated clubs participating in UEFA club competitions in the 2022/23 season," it said in a statement.
Russian clubs and national teams were suspended "until further notice" by UEFA in February in the wake of the country's invasion of Ukraine.
Russia's bid to host the Euro 2028 or the Euro 2032 tournaments have also been declared ineligible, the Switzerland-based governing body said.
UEFA said it decision to rule Russia out as a host followed its regulations that each bidder should "not act in a manner that could bring UEFA, the UEFA final or UEFA final phase, any other bidder, the bidding procedure or European football into disrepute."
The Russian national side will also not be allowed to compete in the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League.
The Russian team's exclusion from the Women's European Championship to take place in England in July was also confirmed on Monday with Portugal taking its place.
