A record number of participants will take part in this year's Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon.
Around 5,100 runners will compete across a variety of categories, including full half-marathon, relay, 5 km and a 1 km fun run, on Friday.
They will be lining up alongside some of the best long-distance athletes in the world, including Brigid Kosgei, Peres Jepchirchir and Julien Wanders.
The 14th edition of the event will be held on Al Marjan Island, which will have a special race village, featuring a wide range of entertainment and dining options.
