After losing the toss, the Qalandars were put into bat first and went on to record a score of 201-2, with Chris Gayle top scoring on 60. In response, Bismillah Khan hit 55 from just 30 balls, and good showings from Kevin Pietersen and Kumar Sangakkara keeping the target in sight. With 15 runs needed in the final over, Mohammed Nabi secured the win for the Gladiators.
