Skipper Kane Williamson and fellow opener Martin Guptill's 172-run stand is the highest partnership in T20s. Williamson remained unbeaten after a 48-ball 72, while Guptill faced 10 more balls for his 87 not out. The three-match series is now evenly poised 1-1. The decisive third game will be played in Wellington on January 22.
