Top seed Rafael Nadal has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Australian Open, beating 23rd seed Nick Kyrgios in four sets.
The match, which lasted 3 hours and 38 minutes, ended 6-3, 3-6, 7-6, 7-6 in Nadal's favour.
The world no. 1 was made to work hard by Kyrgios and needed to win two tie breaks on his way to victory.
Elsewhere, seventh seed Alexander Zverev booked his maiden quarterfinal spot in the Australian Open.
The German strolled past Andrey Rublev 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to end the Russian's 15-match winning streak.
In the women's draw, the unseeded Garbine Muguruza knocked out ninth seed Kiki Bertens 6-3, 6-3, while Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova moved into the quarter-finals with a 6-7, 7-6, 6-2 win over former champion Angelique Kerber.
