Jorge Lorenzo clinched a third Moto GP title on Sunday as he kept his cool to claim a pole to flag victory in the season-ending Valencia Grand Prix. Lorenzo’s dominant win coupled with Yahama team-mate and title rival Valentino Rossi’s fourth place meant he won the 2015 crown by five points. Six-time world champion Rossi had started from the back of the grid, but despite a heroic effort he saw his dream of landing a first title since 2009 end in heartache. Lorenzo's victory was his seventh of the 18-race season and saw him add the 2015 title to his successes in 2010 and 2012.
