Atletico Madrid claimed bragging rights over local rivals Real Madrid, thanks to a 1-0 win at the Bernabeu. French forward, Antoine Griezmann, scored the only goal early in the second half, charging forward with the ball, passing out to Filipe Luis, then converting the full-backs return pass. It's Atleti's third straight win at the home of their fierce rivals - something no other club has done before. The result also all-but-ends the title hopes of Los Merengues, who are now nine points off leaders Barcelona, having played a game more, but keeps Diego Simeone's men in the hunt in second. Elsewhere, Espanyol beat Sporting Gijon 4-2, Celta Vigo won 1-0 at Getafe, whilst Real Betis and Rayo Vallecano shared a 2-2 draw.
