India defeated Australia by six wickets in the second Twenty20 International at Sydney to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
The visitors chased down the 195-run target with two balls to spare to seal the series.
With 14 runs needed off the last over, Hardik Pandya (42 not out off 22 balls) finished the game with two sixes.
Shikhar Dhawan was India's top scorer (52 off 36 balls), while captain Virat Kohli scored 40 off 24 balls and KL Rahul contributed 30 runs (22 balls).
Earlier, Australia scored 194-5 in the allotted 20 overs, thanks to skipper Matthew Wade's 58 (32 balls) and Steve Smith's 46 (38 balls).
T. Natarajan was the pick of the Indian bowlers. He returned with figures of 2-20 from his four-over spell.
The third and final game of the series will be played in Sydney on December 8.
