Thuraya Al Zaabi will join the javelin and shot put events in Qatar, hoping to secure a place in Rio next year. Zaabi first took part in the Paralympic Games in Beijing in 2008. According to the national news agency WAM, Doha will also be making history this week when it hosts the largest para-sport event ever to come to the Middle East.
