Dubai Basketball will return to the Coca-Cola Arena for the ABA League semi-final home games of the 2025/26 season, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 20 against Budućnost VOLI.
Since regional unrest began in February, the team was forced to relocate all ABA League and EuroLeague home fixtures to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Beginning with their EuroLeague home game against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz on March 12, Dubai Basketball has played nine home fixtures between Sarajevo and Zenica, with both cities serving as temporary home courts throughout the 66-day relocation.
In coordination with local authorities, ABA League officials, and both participating teams, Dubai Basketball confirms that the semi-final phase of the ABA League Playoffs will be played at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
Dejan Kamenjašević, Co-CEO & General Manager of Dubai Basketball, described the past two months as challenging, while expressing gratitude to supporters, partners, league organisers and authorities who supported the team’s relocation and eventual return.
"We also want to thank the people of Sarajevo and Zenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina) for welcoming us and making us feel at home during this period. A special thank you as well to KK Bosna for their collaboration, hospitality, and support throughout these past months," he added.
Dubai Basketball says it is now focused on the semi-finals and is calling on fans to pack Coca-Cola Arena on May 20 as the team brings its home games back to Dubai.
For the city that waited.⁰For the fans that never stopped believing.
