Meanwhile, Manchester United ended their recent goal drought as they beat CSKA Moscow 1-0. Wayne Rooney headed home with ten minutes remaining to ease the nerves at a tense Old Trafford, and put United top of Group B. Louis van Gaal’s men are a point ahead of PSV Eindhoven, who overcame Wolfsburg 2-0.Elsewhere, Benfica continue to lead the way in Group C after a 2-1 victory over Galatasary, whilst Atletico Madrid were held to a goalless draw at Astana.
