Australia crushed Pakistan by an innings and five runs in the first Test at Brisbane.
The hosts wrapped up the win after tea on the fourth day.
Their pacers did most of the damage, with Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood taking nine wickets between them to bowl Pakistan out for 335 runs in the second innings.
The visitor did show some resistance on Sunday but succumbed late in the final session.
Babar Azam (104) scored a magnificent century and Mohammad Rizwan (95) fell five runs short of his first, while leg-spinner Yasir Shah made his highest Test score (42).
The second and final Test begins in Adelaide on November 29.
