Yemen’s Vice President Khalid Bahah arrived in Marib province today to follow up on the military operations taking place there. Bahah is expected to hold a meeting with local authority and military leaders to discuss the remaining arrangements to liberate Marib and forthcoming plans to liberate the capital, Sanaa. His visit comes less than a week after President Abd Al Rabbah Mansour Hadi visited Aden, where he discussed military action to free Taiz. Yemeni and Saudi-led coalition forces are seeking to liberate more areas from Houthi rebels, as part of their programme ‘’Operation Restoring Hope’’.
